Pioneer may refer to:
- Woodsman, one who makes his living in the wilderness through trapping, hunting, logging, and/or prospecting
- Settler, one who has travelled from his or her homeland by choice to live in a "new" land or colony
- Mormon Pioneer, a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who crossed the Great Plains
